Aquarius Shop & Furniture Design

Shop & furniture design in a building with over  500 years of history, old town of Basel. The ancient building, is historically protected, in particular the old structural beams.

The new shop design is able to adapt to the uneven floor and ceiling, but can also deal with the positions of the protected beams.

Steelframes and woodwork were connected through adjustable joints.
