Charivari is a yearly music theatre event that is linked with the traditional carnival in Basel, Switzerland. In 2007 the production team approached us with the idea of creating an interactive stage show for the next edition. We created a setup with projections covering parts of the stage design and several possibilities for the actors to interact with the projection in real-time. The core piece of the setup was a set of self-made drum triggers with wireless transmitters which were attached to the instruments and would trigger animations.
