Volta, is an invitational only, inter- national artfair that takes place in Basel, Switzerland. As an alternative event to the main fair ART BASEL, representing younger, cutting-edge galleries as opposed to the blue- chip established, it was important to communicate this idea through the design and architecture.
The show was taking part in an industrial hall at the harbour where during the year, cellulose is stored. In order to create more exhibition space, a second level was implemented.The surrounding area at the docks, was used for artistic installations and catering.
For Voltashow were doing the architectural design for several consecutive years as well as project management implementation for Nüssli (Schweiz) AG , 2006-2009.
